How factoring fits your cycle

Ship, invoice, get an advance, then the rest when the customer pays.

You ship and invoice as usual. The factoring partner advances up to 90% of the invoice. When your customer pays, you receive the rest, minus the factor's fee.

  • Restock with this week's invoices, not last month's payments.
  • Take the bigger order or the supplier discount when it comes up.
  • Factors look mainly at your customers' credit, not yours.
Week 1You pay suppliers to restock inventory.
Week 2You ship and invoice on net 45. The factor advances up to 90%.
Week 9The retailer pays. You receive the balance, minus the fee.

Illustrative timeline, not an offer. Your funding partner sets the actual advance, fee and timing.

FAQ

Questions distributors ask us

My customers are large retailers. Do factors work with them?

Yes. Factors look mainly at your customers' credit, so invoices to established retailers and distributors are usually a good fit.

Do deductions and chargebacks matter?

Yes. Factors look at how often customers short-pay or take deductions. We gather this before sending your file, so the offers reflect it.

I already have a bank line. Can I still factor?

Often, yes, but your bank may hold a lien on your receivables. We check that before we send your file.
